The Column of the Oregon City Arch Bridge is said to have had a restrooms. The obelisks stand atop the bridge's main support pier and originally flanked the entrances to the public restrooms that were housed within the pier. The restrooms were closed in 1937 due to ongoing vandalism. The stairway entrances are now covered in concrete.
